WOW! What a day! You remember in the before-times, this morning, when the day looked like it was just going to be a super cool? Wow. There are no plans to update the Windows PC version of The Sims 3. Stay informed by watching the thread below (most current status = pinned msg) It got off to a rocky start! We are currently working hard to resolve the issues.
Hey Simmers, today we released an update for The Sims 3 with 64-bit & metal support for macOS. EA is currently working on them and we’ll keep you posted as soon as they get resolved! Please note that currently there are some issues in the main menu that people have reported on. The Base Game along with all of the Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs should be updated to work with the latest 64bit & Metal version! If you’ve already registered The Sims 3 in your Game Library then a new version should pop out with a “64bit” tag on top of the Box Art. You can download this version of The Sims 3 on Origin if you have a Mac OS device. The long-awaited compatibility release of The Sims 3 for Mac OS computers is finally out now!
